Love how well this was put together. The character designs are simple but cute and funny, and the sleepy character resigning to their sleepless fate came through hilariously in the facial expressions. Makes me happy to see such strikingly effective portrayals of these small, ubiquitous experiences here on Newgrounds.

Likely going to get lost in the review ocean but this film is insane. I love the perspective angles and the character designs, great song choice, and your style is so full of life. The first dance sequence, man, what a good wake-up. So good.

Likely will get lost in the reviews that are bound to be flooding in, but I want to say that this was so well-executed. I love the simplistic art style, the dull 3D environments could be unappealing to some but I personally really enjoyed the way you've made them look since it fits the atmosphere amazingly. Awesome.

It's a good thing I read every review I get. Thanks for the kind words! That was basically my objective with the sets. I like to have the lighting do most of the heavy lifting when I'm strapped for time on details. Plus, both sets are based on real locations, with the apartment closely resembling Ethan's when he was in university.

Super good. The bounciness and fluidity of the character's movements remind me of kekeflipnote's works, and also speak volumes of the hazy feeling that devours one's brain as they work late into the night. The shower scenes were hilarious and the end actually made me go "ohhhh" in distress for the poor guy. Also gotta love how meticulously everything is synced to the music.

Maybe I'm so stoked to see such a good portrayal of being overworked and exhausted because I relate to this film a little too hard, and am pleasantly surprised to be able to laugh at my own otherwise wretched situation. Love it.

Just fantastic work. I remember seeing this on YouTube and being so surprised at how good it is. The sense of movement and flow, the fast lipsync, the expressions and the energy in the characters' poses really add so much to the animation. I hope the Funkin' team sees this!

Fantastic work. The art style has an amateurish quality, but I mean that in the best way possible since it looks so dynamic and full of life because ot it. I love the way you interpreted the character forms, and your sense of weight, movement and timing is wonderful. Amazing job especially since it's your first time, would love to see a part two or more stuff like this.

There’s a whole second part I cut for time where he travels through the city, interacts with my fav NG characters, and beats the shit out of Boyfriend lol, maybe I’ll finish it someday. Thank you so much for your feedback, I appreciate the perspective!!!!

I love the authentic textures and elements that make the entire video seem like a real dating sim game. Great voice acting and presentation, plus I loved the corny and nostalgic anime style Senpai was presented in during the lip sync scenes. I only wish this style had been preserved for his earlier sprites too.
I also found it really funny that the player character is Pico x)

Fantastic submission, genuine light-hearted humour done well. I loved the animation style and the voices. Great job.

I liked the flow of the video. Conceptually it seemed really similar to the original Pico's Unloaded (nice to see you giving due credit to it), kinda thinned out the storyline of that itself, so maybe you could have added more in that department. The animation is well executed, the scene with Pico falling was very dynamic and stood out nicely. Good work :D
