Dang, this is insane. I love the attention to detail with all the textures. Her face/expression reminds me of the album covers Nagimiso drew for many Vocaloid producers' releases. The colour choices are great too, and I really like the simplicity of her outfit (plus the fact that she's repping Miku Expo merch :D). Did you 3D render any part of this piece and paint on top of it?

Great work. Beautiful line quality, and the glowing pattern on the sleeve aligning with the snake is ingenious. The little clothing details and the realistic anatomy tie everything together so well. I only wish you'd kept the bounciness of the original hair. Love this piece.

Gorgeous work, pays homage amazingly to the source material. I love your interpretation of Tomie, as well as the canvas-looking textures interspersed in the brushstrokes which really make it look like the actual painting that the artist guy made in the manga. The colours on her hair highlights look fantastic but I cut half a star because you could've made the "beautiful" part of her face look more lively, maybe by adding a little more red and making her smile a bit more. Your friend better be over the moon with this present or they need a new pair of eyes ;)

Appreciate the well thought out critique. Not everyday I get one of those. I understand what you mean, but I was aiming for the Mona Lisa "smile" and basing it on her manga panels where she has a solemn disposition.

Amazing work. I love your art style, fits so well with the adorable concept. The simple background is perfect, the sense of lighting and the bright colour look great and the outfit you drew Miku in suits her incredibly well. With your permission, may I draw this specific Miku? I love her.

Supremely adorable, I'm in love with the vacation concept. It's so great to see everyone happy, you really nailed the mood, and I really like their vacationy flowery shirts too. I only wish you'd added a tiny bit more to the background - perhaps a distant boat or a nearby parasol to make the beach a little less desolate. Overall, I think this is absolutely fantastic ^3^

Probably going to get lost in the reviews but this is absolutely insane work. The sheer number and variety of characters and stylistic depictions, the sense of perspective and how they're all coming at Captain tying the whole composition together, every element is just fantastic.
I know you said this "isn't too crazy" but maybe think about that one more time. You deserve an award.
